The article discusses the development and operation of the transmission channels of the key rate mechanism in the real sector. Some of the channels perform this function quite effectively, the domestic stock market, as one of the channels, is only in the process of transformation. Despite certain systemic problems, it is observed that the positive dynamics in the development of the securities market and its role in this mechanism will gradually increase.

The article examines the current state of loan debt of the banking sector of the Republic of Dagestan. A reasonable conclusion is made about the increase in bad debts of the banking sector of the region associated with a massive reduction in business profitability, low quality of borrowers, and the lack of high-quality monitoring of the loan portfolio. Ways to minimize bad debts of banks are proposed.
