The high quality of labor potential in an innovative economy is the most important factor in increasing the efficiency of a modern organization and ensuring its competitiveness. Maintaining the required level of the organization’s labor potential and its further permanent development necessitate a periodic assessment of human resources. Despite a significant number of studies in this area, issues of assessing the labor potential of an organization are not well understood. The article presents an analysis of the approaches used to assess the status and development of the labor potential of the organization. A balanced scorecard is proposed that helps to obtain an objective assessment of the state and dynamism of the development of the labor potential of a modern organization according to its various components.

The article discusses the features of the formation of a cost accounting system for business processes. The features of economic activity that determine the accounting and analytical system of trade organizations and are combined in two groups: organizational and specific. After identification, a typology of business processes was structured, taking into account the characteristics of trade organizations, the objects of managerial cost accounting in the context of processes were identified, which will allow to obtain more accurate and timely information about costs. An improved scheme for determining financial results from the sale of goods is presented, which will provide a more accurate determination of the value of goods in the organization and the result from sales.
