Abstract
The article presents the author’s view of organizing a business in the context of the widespread dissemination of digital technology and the expansion of electronic commerce. It is proved that today there are no significant obstacles to direct commercial relations between producer and consumer, and the expansion of the digital economy will contribute to this process. An approach is proposed for a comparative assessment of the effectiveness of direct and indirect commercial ties.
