Abstract

The article summarizes the theoretical, methodological and practical provisions on the formation and use of material and technical resources in agriculture in Russia. A study of the state and development trends of the park of agricultural machinery. The role and importance of modernization of the agricultural sector in the context of ensuring food security, import substitution and growth of labor productivity are determined. The problems of equipping the agricultural sector with material and technical resources and the factors affecting its formation and use are identified. Recommendations have been developed to solve the identified problems that contribute to substantially replenish the material and technical base for increasing labor productivity in the agribusiness and food security of the country.
