Abstract
This article focuses on the process of studying and forming communication skills in preschool children with I II levels of General speech underdevelopment. Diagnostic tasks for studying communication skills in 4–5 year-old children with I-II level of General speech underdevelopment, criteria for their performance and data from a ascertaining experiment are considered.
