Abstract
The article is devoted to the issues of research of the milk market, the formation of its proposal, the dynamics of the livestock of cattle and cows, milk production in the Stavropol Territory on the basis of official statistics for 2017–2020 in comparison with 1987 is considered. The dynamics of consumption and production of milk per capita is analyzed, the characteristic of the competitive environment is given, the leading producers of raw milk are identified. The presented results can serve as a basis for substantiating the directions of development of the regional milk market and increasing its supply.
