Abstract
The article, along with the classical understanding of the essence of lending to individuals, which does not accurately reflect reality, presents the features of the appointment of an educational loan. According to the authors, lending to an individual for training is aimed at meeting a person's needs for his intellectual de-velopment and at the same time forms human capital. The relevance of this topic is increasing in terms of the formation of high-level human capital for high-tech sectors of the economy. A special role in this regard is assigned to financial and credit organizations, which ideally will allow them to enter the high-tech sectors of the economy and, along with commercial issues, solve the problem of increasing the country's human capital.
