Abstract

The article is devoted to the evaluation of the use of the scenario approach in the management system of socio-economic development of the Murmansk region. The principles and tasks of implementing the scenario approach at the regional level are studied, the specific features of scenario forecasting at the level of the subject of the Russian Federation in comparison with the federal level are given. An assessment of the main research directions in the field of scenario forecasting in the scientific environment is carried out, and the practice of implementing the scenario approach in the development of key strategic documents for the development of the region is also considered. It is concluded that the practice of using a scenario approach in the management system of socio-economic development of the Murmansk region is currently insufficiently effective and is characterized by a number of problems.
