Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of issues related to investment, innovation and economic security in the gas industry. Within the framework of this work, issues related to the innovative development of the gas industry and its economic security in the context of the transition to a «green economy» are considered, and a comparative analysis of possible ways of developing the gas industry during the transition to a «green economy» is carried out. According to the results of the analysis, it is noted that for companies in the gas industry, the corporate climate strategy and the decarbonization strategy should become an obligatory part of the business strategy with the integration of the efforts of all strategic, commercial and production units.
