Abstract
The article examines the key indicators characterizing the development of agriculture in the Republic of Tatarstan. The resource base operating in agriculture in the region has been studied, the factors hindering the development of the agro-industrial complex in Tatarstan have been identified. Shown are the measures taken by the leadership of the region for the development of this industry.
