Abstract

Digitalization, despite the risks from cybercrime, does not reduce its progress and only penetrates deeper into all areas of the population’s life. But at the same time, the number and scale of cyber-attacks is inevitably growing. A growing number of ransomware programs and diversified tactics, increasingly mobile cyber threats, increasingly sophisticated phishing, cybercriminals and nation-states attacking the systems that control our daily lives, and attackers attacking the clouds with the storage of our personal data.
The dangers of cybercrime force states and companies to devote significant portions of their budget to the development of cybersecurity. Cybersecurity in the twenty-first century has become as necessary as law enforcement agencies. It is impossible to underestimate the importance of cybersecurity.
