Abstract
The article analyzes the poultry meat market for the year, summarizes statistical data on per capita consumption and the average price for this type of product. It was revealed that the consumption of poultry meat per person per year is 3,3 kg less than the value recommended by the Ministry of Health of Russia. It follows from statistical data on prices of agricultural producers that in 2012–2020 the price of a kilogram of poultry meat increased by 34%, and in 9 months of 2021 – by 26%. The main reasons that caused a negative reaction in the poultry meat market are given, recommendations on how to get out of this situation are given.
