Abstract
The article studies the dependence of the diversification of labor resources on the level of development of the scientific and technological basis. The authors substantiate that scientific and technological development, relying on the base of economic resources, provides an increase in the efficiency of the reproduction process. Actual tools and practices for increasing labor productivity that ensure innovative development are considered on the example of the leading sectors of the Russian economy in modern conditions.
