Abstract
Any organization of the modern market faces high competition. It is no longer enough to accumulate
only material capacities and meet the current needs of the client. It is important for the company to
understand and anticipate what value it can provide to the client now and in the future, what competencies it
needs to acquire or strengthen.
To become a market leader, it is extremely important to properly use and constantly develop intellectual
capital. This concept is extensive and is gaining recognition and popularity among scientists and management
professionals as an effective means of strengthening the competitiveness of the organization.
The article analyzes the intellectual capital system of the VkusVill grocery retail chain, as well as its
strengths and weaknesses. Recommendations for the development of the organization are proposed and it is
demonstrated how the management of intellectual capital affects the efficiency of the company.
