Abstract
The ESG agenda is a rapidly developing global and national trend that has economic value
for business as well as social significance. In this regard, it became necessary to create an expertise in the
formation of a sustainability management system and ESG practices.
The article describes the practical implementation of ESG diagnostics on the example of the company
“ALROSA”. The study was based on ESG rating evaluation reports and publicly available information, including
non-financial statements of companies. The key zones for development have been identified, a list of
competing companies has been compiled - beacons of the industry and sustainable development.
The authors compared ratings of rating agencies and benchmarking, and then identified the best ESG
practices in each aspect. Recommendations are formulated for the company “ALROSA”, an assessment of
the economic efficiency of the proposed improvements is carried out.
