Abstract

This article discusses current trends in the development of state control (surveillance), including the stages of development of state control (supervision) through the conceptual apparatus, enshrined in the legislation of the Russian Federation. The essence and results of the reform of control and supervision activities in the Russian Federation are described. The trend towards increased sphere of influence of the control function of the state through an increasing number of types of state control (supervision) and its forms during the implementation of control measures of mandatory requirements for the activities of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs is indicated.
