Abstract

In this article, the authors assessed the current state of the mortgage market for the population in Russia, revealed negative and positive trends in its development. The unprecedented measures taken by the state against the background of the military operation and economic sanctions sharply slowed down the process of issuing mortgages for individuals. At the same time, positive prospects have already been outlined, which were expressed in the expansion of a number of benefits under the relevant mortgage programs. The key measure is a pilot project on preferential mortgages (with an interest rate of 9%) for the construction of private houses without involving contractors.
