Abstract
The work is devoted to the study of the family budget of a modern student. The analysis of psychological
literature testifies to the interest in the problem of psychological features of the student's economic behavior,
which is associated with its significance in life, activity, personality formation. The methodological basis was made
up of the works of L. S. Vygotsky, A. N. Leontiev, L. I. Bozhovich and others.
The results of the study are described, the main directions of expenditures and distribution of the family budget,
its criteria are identified. A comparative analysis is given, and the correlation dependence of the parameters for
different groups of college and institute students is calculated.
