Abstract

The article discusses the main socio-economic indicators of the Republic of Tatarstan, the causes and features of the formation of the current dynamics. The structure of the administrative-territorial structure, the population in the largest cities, the analysis of the demographic situation in the region are given. The factors determining the indicators of the natural movement of the population, the distribution of employed by type of economic activity, the value of the average accrued wages, etc. are presented. The assessment of the dynamics of indicators is given for 2017–2020.
