Abstract

The article considers the current programs of state support for small businesses in the field of trade. The effectiveness of support programs for the wholesale trade sector is analyzed, taking in to account the specifics of its business processes and existing needs in the era of digital expansion. The main directions that require updating the approach to the developed support programs for wholesale trade enterprises related to small businesses are identified. Based on the results of the analysis, the author gives recommendations on the allocation to separate programs of state support of enterprises belonging to small businesses operating in the field of wholesale trade in order to maintain competitiveness and vitality of this economy sector.
