Abstract
The article is devoted to the problem of monopolization of the consumer market in the conditions
of continuous integration and consolidation, formation and consolidation of organizational systems in the
world economy.
The key aspects of the problem in relation to various integration forms are shown. The practice of regulating
the development of retail trade networks, associations of manufacturing enterprises, small and medium-sized trading businesses around marketplaces, intersectoral entities built on the principles of an ecosystem
approach is considered.
Based on the legislative practice of the European Union, the United States and China, the authors conduct
a comparative analysis of tools for balancing the development of trade and intersectoral associations in
the consumer market from the standpoint of protecting the interests of small and medium-sized businesses,
consumers and society.
