Abstract
The article describes the methodology for substantiating the criteria for assessing the economic sustainability of the nuclear power industry in a competitive energy market. A classification model of groups, types of criteria and characteristics of sustainability indicators has been formed. Substantiation of evaluation criteria and parameters is an important task for ensuring the sustainable functioning of the industry and ensuring the safe operation of nuclear power plants.
