Abstract
The article discusses the historical paradigm of the ERP system development, reflects the main factors of the positive impact of its implementation on the company’s activities, how the implementation of the ERP system can become a driver for improving the efficiency of the organization’s activities and development. The results of the practical implementation of the 1C: ERP software product on the example of a production holding are presented. The main advantages and capabilities of this system, successful examples of its implementation in different industries, as well as potential difficulties and problems when implementing an ERP system, and ways to overcome them are considered.
