Abstract

In the context of the introduction of anti-Russian sanctions, the task of assessing the potential of import substitution in the economy of the Russian Federation and developing methodological approaches to assessing the possibilities of its implementation becomes especially urgent for Russia. The purpose of the work is to assess the impact of the prospects for expanding trade and economic ties between Russia and China in these conditions
The prospects of expanding trade and economic ties between Russia and China, as well as with other countries, have been assessed. Based on statistical data, a methodological approach is proposed to assess the domestic potential of import substitution and the possibilities of its implementation, as well as the prospects for expanding trade, economic and investment ties between Russia and China. The proposed approach makes it possible to forecast the implementation of import substitution in the economy of the Russian Federation.
The results of the study can be used to assess the potential of import substitution of products, works and services in the economy of the Russian Federation and substantiate recommendations to the leadership of our country.
