Abstract

The article examines the essence of the category known as “smart city”. The main international and Russian standards are studied, revealing the essence of this concept with the disclosure of the problems of digitalization of urban infrastructure in the Russian economy. This topic is relevant in the conditions of rapid development of the digital economy. As an example, a comparative characteristic of the constituent elements of international standards with Russian standards is given.
