Abstract
The formation of logistics infrastructure in the agricultural sector affects economic growth and
can contribute to the country’s economy. The experience of developed countries shows that the transportation
of agricultural products, storage, customs clearance, expansion of the infrastructure of tracking and logistics
services have a positive effect on the expansion of agriculture, production and overall economic growth. Along
with this, the magnitude and level of significance of the coefficients for each dimension of the logistics results
vary depending on the sectors. Logistics infrastructure is more important for the growth of production and
overall economic growth than for the growth of agriculture.
The study shows that the importance and scale of the relationship between economic growth and logistics
advantages depend on industry and economic policy, as well as other contexts. Thus, investments in logistics
services can contribute to the acceleration of both agricultural and industrial growth, as well as overall economic
growth.
