Abstract
This article discusses the infrastructural category of regional risks. Assessment of this type of risk within a region is an important process because it allows you to identify and assess potential threats and vulnerabilities associated with infrastructure in a particular region. This is important because infrastructure is the foundation of economic and social development and provides vital services for the population. Another reason for the importance of assessing infrastructure risks is to ensure the safety and protection of the population – vulnerabilities in infrastructure can pose a danger to human health. So, within the framework of this study, first of all, infrastructure categories were identified that reflect its specifics and on the basis of which possible infrastructure risks were reflected, as well as indicators that can measure the identified risks, and measures that reduce the levels of infrastructure risks and the degree of impact of emergencies of the appropriate type. Further, the parameters were divided into two categories: indicators characterizing the transport infrastructure, and indicators that are more or less related to the management of housing and communal services. The main methods used in the study were regression analysis, cluster analysis and the decision tree method, on the basis of which the process of classifying regions into clusters was carried out depending on one or another value of previously selected parameters that assess infrastructure risks. Moreover, in each of the categories of indicators, those that are primary within the framework of regional differentiation were identified. At the end of the work, a table with all the parameters used in the study and measurement of risks is given. Thus, the analysis of the type of regional risk considered in this article helps to identify bottlenecks and the most critical areas in the infrastructure of the region that require special attention and investment.
