Abstract
The shipbuilding and ship repair sector (shipbuilding industry) differs from other manufacturing industries in that it was exposed to globalization processes very early and was not covered by anti-dumping programs. The importance of the shipbuilding industry for the Russian economy cannot be overestimated. In most industrialized countries or countries in the process of industrialization, the shipbuilding industry is considered a particularly sensitive and strategic sector of the economy.
