Abstract
The article examines the essence of the socio-economic development of Russia, identifies its role and its main prospects in modern conditions. Without the presence of a steadily developing socio-economic sphere, no state can effectively exist and prosper. Therefore, the main goal of any country is to ensure high performance in this area.
