Abstract

This scientific article is devoted to the research and development of an organizational and economic mechanism, the purpose of which is to increase the efficiency of the economic activity of a hotel enterprise, taking into account the principles of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance). In the context of modern business, increasing attention is being paid to the sustainability and responsibility of enterprises to the environment, society and their own shareholders. The article presents the main aspects of the formation of an organizational and economic mechanism, analyzes the role and importance of ESG principles in the hotel industry. The main components and tools of this mechanism are considered, such as resource potential management, energy efficiency, use of renewable energy sources, waste management and other aspects affecting the economic efficiency and sustainability of a hotel enterprise. The article also provides examples of calculations and analysis of the effectiveness of resource management, taking into account the principles of ESG. The results of the study can be useful for hotel companies seeking to improve their sustainability, competitiveness and compliance with modern requirements.
Goal. The purpose of this article is to research and develop an organizational and economic mechanism aimed at improving the efficiency of the economic activity of a hotel enterprise, taking into account the principles of ESG (Environment, Social, Governance).
Tasks. Analysis of existing approaches and methods of resource potential management in the hotel industry, taking into account the principles of ESG; development of an organizational and economic mechanism that includes components and tools necessary to improve the efficiency of the economic activity of a hotel enterprise, taking into account the principles of ESG.
Methodology. The author uses methods of general scientific cognition, in particular induction and deduction, synthesis, comparative analysis.
Results. The results of the research work confirm the effectiveness of the implementation of an organizational and economic mechanism taking into account the principles of ESG in hotel enterprises, which contributes to increasing their sustainability, social responsibility and financial efficiency.
Conclusions. The application of ESG principles in the management of the resource potential of hotel enterprises makes it possible to achieve economic efficiency, reduce the negative impact on the environment and increase the social responsibility of the enterprise. This creates competitive advantages and contributes to sustainable business in the long term. The study provided recommendations and guidance on the implementation of an organizational and economic mechanism for hotel enterprises. These recommendations can be used by enterprises to successfully apply the mechanism and achieve improved performance and sustainability indicators.
