Abstract

The article examines the most important factors in the process of managing intellectual property of modern knowledge-intensive business entities, which, according to the scientific views of the author, are the protection of innovations; increase in company value; attracting investments; improving the reputation of knowledge-intensive business entities; differentiated the main stages of the process of managing intellectual property of modern business entities, including the development of a strategy in the field of intellectual property; implementation of the strategy in order to make management decisions as efficiently as possible; formation of an intellectual property management policy; administration and negotiations; clarification of rights and possible violations of intellectual property of enterprises.
