Abstract

This study is devoted to the study of cultural risks affecting the overall well-being of the region, which the regions face. The purpose of this work is to analyze the main factors, indicators and causes of cultural risks at the regional level, this allows you to choose the best strategies for the sustainable development of regions, paying attention and analyzing the problems of the subjects. To begin with, the statistical indicator of the level of education in the region was analyzed, this indicator was taken as the proportion of the population with specifically taken levels of education from all respondents who indicated their level of education. For clarity and averaging of indicators by region, data on federal districts were used. Next, we considered the indicator of the number of employees in cultural and leisure-type institutions. Thus, an indicator was taken indicating the size of the share of the population involved in the work of cultural institutions in three randomly selected federal districts, as well as the average in the country. The data were analyzed in dynamics from 2019 to 2022 to analyze the trend. The growth rates by year were also compared. Next, the indicator of the share of cultural heritage objects in a particular federal district from the total number of cultural heritage objects in the country was considered. For comparison, the indicator of the human development index was given, which made it possible to assess the relationship between cultural risk and the level of well-being of the federal district, and as a consequence, the regions. The data obtained were analyzed, assumptions were made about the causes of the differences and possible consequences for the regions. As a result of the work, a list of cultural risks that have a direct impact on the well-being of the regions was obtained.
