Abstract
The article examines the Russian manufacturing industry as one of the most important types of economic activity, ensuring the growth of the domestic economy. The characteristics of the “Consolidated strategy for the development of the manufacturing industry of the Russian Federation until 2030 and for the period until 2035” developed by the Government of the Russian Federation are presented; an analysis of the indicators for the development of the manufacturing industry included in the Consolidated strategy is carried out. Attention is paid to the indicators of technological development in Russia for the period 2015-2022, its features and problems are identified. Attention is paid to the conditions that contribute to achieving the goals of development of the manufacturing industry and increasing the efficiency of the real sector of the Russian economy.
