Abstract
This article is devoted to the study of the role of economic analysis in the process of business planning. As part of the work, a justification is given for the need to study economic analysis as an integral tool in the process of business planning. The opinions of various scientists on the role of economic analysis in the development of a business plan are given. In addition, attention is focused on the goals of business planning, on the types and methods of economic analysis, as well as on the tasks that economic analysis performs at each stage of drawing up a business plan.
