Abstract
This paper examines the phenomenon of globalization from the manufacturer’s perspective and analyses its positive and negative aspects. The study focuses on the impact of globalization on the manufacturing sector and examines what advantages and disadvantages it brings to manufacturers under globalization. Topics such as economies of scale, synergies, geographical advantages and strength of market position in the context of globalization trends are examined. It also touches on competition, centralized management and flexibility of production strategies.
