Abstract

The article explores directions for improving the regulation of one of the classes of insurance programs – compulsory the enhanced information systems of the Unified Insurance Database within the framework of the Development Concept of the Financial Sector in Kazakhstan until 2030. The objective is the optimization of the collection of statistical information for personalized accounting of data on workers affected by occupational accidents. A crucial factor is the integration of the automated insurance information system with other national databases for real-time information exchange, enhancing the quality and relevance of statistical data. Special attention is given to the improvement of the mandatory insurance system for occupational accidents, where insufficient problems in the implementation of preventive, rehabilitative, and compensatory functions have been identified. The study necessitates a comprehensive approach to the reform of the mandatory accident insurance system, including legislative changes and institutional reforms to enhance the effectiveness of workers’ social protection. The article proposes a reorientation of the system towards prevention, strengthening of medical-social and professional rehabilitation, as well as preventive insurance programs in accordance with international recommendations.
