Abstract
The concept of “Internet + Education” has attracted wide attention of the educational community since its inception, as well as accelerated the integration of information technology and education. With regard to distance and open education, the scientific application of information technology in teaching and effective integration with various courses can effectively improve the overall quality of teaching and increase the effectiveness of student learning. This is an important way and means for educational institutions to develop applied talents. To this end, the characteristics and advantages of current online distance education are analyzed and two specific methods are proposed for the full use of infrastructure and the active popularization of modern information technologies to provide a basis for the integration of information technology and distance education.
