Abstract

The article examines the role, key performance indicators and main trends in the development of the Russian chemical industry in the context of unprecedented economic sanctions imposed on our country by a number of countries of the so-called “collective” West. For a deeper understanding of the current situation, an analysis of the current state of global chemical production and the place of the Russian chemical industry in the global chemical products market is provided.
