Abstract

In the study, the authors present the main indicators of business tourism and support measures for the sustainable development of the city’s industry, analyzing the market of convention and exhibition activities in St. Petersburg.
As part of the study, the authors used the following methods: observation, correlation analysis, comparative analysis of indicators.
The result of the study was the revealed relationship between the subsidization of congress and exhibition activities and the sustainable development of the city’s economy.
