Abstract

The article examines the role of maritime transport in the global economy and trade, as well as the impact of maritime transport on the environment. The authors analyze the prospects for the development of maritime transport in the context of climate change and the introduction of new technologies. The article examines the impact of maritime transport on the global petroleum products market. The main advantages and disadvantages of maritime transport, as well as its impact on the environment, are analyzed. Particular attention is paid to the development of technologies and infrastructure that help improve the efficiency and environmental friendliness of maritime transport.
