Abstract
In the article, based on the results of continuous observations of the activities of small and medium-sized businesses in 2015 and 2020, a structural analysis of changes in the main indicators of the development of the studied sector of the economy is carried out. As part of the structural analysis of the number of employees, sectoral and regional shifts have been identified, as well as positive trends in the employment structure, which should be consolidated, taking into account the limiting nature of labor resources.
