Abstract
The article analyzes the life orientations of young people of adolescence. The life-meaning orientations of modern teenagers studying in different types of educational organizations were studied. As a result, adolescents revealed significant differences in their ideas about life prospects, ways to achieve goals and control over their own lives among different age groups. Two main groups were identified: schoolchildren and freshmen.
