Abstract

The article reflects the current characteristics of the actual state of international trade in recent years, examines the appropriate forms of Russia’s participation in it, and evaluates the parameters and influencing economic interests realized through the export and import of goods. Special emphasis is placed on the emerging processes of dynamics of indicators of commodity products exported and imported by Russia, both in total dimensions and scales, and trends. The problems of the organization of commodity production by methods of import substitution, deterrence of gray imports, as well as black, due to the sanctions difficulties of international trade too, are highlighted.
