Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of digital transformation of Russian regions on the example of the Leningrad Region. The article reviews the existing problems in various spheres of the regional economy, which are supposed to be solved through digital transformation. The paper also highlights the key tasks that need to be solved within the digital transformation of each of the industries. Based on the assessment of factors for choosing a model of digital transformation of the region, the conceptual model of digital transformation of the Leningrad region was determined. Taking into account the availability of financial opportunities and a high level of digital literacy of the population, which determines the readiness of the region’s residents to effectively use the implemented digital services and tools, the forced model is chosen as the optimal model of digital transformation of the Leningrad region.
