Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the policy of state support for the population and SMEs in the context of the transformation of Russian society and modernization of the economy. The relevance is explained by the fact that the five-year period of the National Project for the Development of SMEs 2.0 is ending. Active work is underway to summarize its results, remaining problems and create a new generation of state support programs within the framework of the National SME Development Project 3.0. The results of surveys of small and medium-sized businesses are analyzed, during which the problems of SMEs and bottlenecks in the implementation of their state support were identified. Proposals and developments to increase the effectiveness of the new national project were considered.
