Abstract

The article presents an analytical review of the state of Russia’s external public debt under the influence of the sanctions policies of Western countries and the formation of prospects for economic development. The main approaches to the interpretation of the concept of external public debt are determined, and an analysis of the dynamics of indicators of the influence of external public debt on economic stability is performed. The results of the study show that despite the comprehensive pressure, the economic situation as a whole is characterized by stability, in turn, the rational policy of government authorities provides the opportunity to contain inflation processes that directly affect both the external and internal state of the state’s economic systems.
