Abstract
The article discusses a system of indicators used to assess the performance of heads of municipalities, city districts and municipal districts. A comparative analysis of the system of indicators provided for by presidential decrees for assessing the effectiveness of the regional authorities and the municipalities in question was conducted. The article substantiates proposals on clarification of the system of indicators and ensuring comparability of some of them, based on the national development goals of the Russian Federation for the period up to 2030 and for the future up to 2036.
