Abstract

The article examines the role of education and environmental awareness in promoting the concepts of a circular economy (CE) in developed and developing countries. It analyzes the impact of educational programs on shaping the population’s ideas about the rational use of resources. The contribution of educational institutions and non-governmental funds to environmental education is considered. The effectiveness of public initiatives, information campaigns, volunteer organizations, and their role in the development of corporate social responsibility is studied. It emphasizes that an environmentally literate society promotes the implementation of sustainable practices and creates favorable conditions for the development of CE.
