Abstract
The use of open-source software (OSS) in computer science courses offers significant benefits, including accessibility, flexibility, and professional skills development. However, there are also challenges, such as compatibility issues and the need for technical support. This article analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of OSS, proposes methods for integrating it into the educational process, and provides recommendations for teachers.
