Abstract
In recent years, much attention has been paid to the development of drones by scientists and practitioners. A number of issues can be identified that require additional research and scientific justification. One of these issues is the study of directions for the formation of the unmanned aerial vehicle market. In his article, the author focuses on the need to develop a comprehensive methodological approach to the study of the development of unmanned automated systems markets based on an economic assessment that allows assessing the effectiveness of the implementation and use of drone services. The assessment should be based on economic criteria for measures to support regional customers that eliminate duplication of financial flows; calculation of the cost of one flight hour based on dividing the company’s costs into capital (CAPEX) and operating (OPEX); assessment of the effectiveness of integrating small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) into the market model of unmanned automated systems services and other tools. The author believes that the development of the Russian drone market is possible based on the formation of a scientific basis based on a systemic vision of problems and opportunities.
